It was reported in the local TV News here tonight on the three people who climbed the Golden Gate Bridge and flew those "Free Tibet" banners (they were massive, by the way -- see this picture: http://news.nationalgeographic.com/news/2008/04/080407-AP-torch-photo.html The Golden Gate security crew spokesperson said that they were already on "Heightened Alert" beginning today, so that kind of brings into question the security implications -- consider if they were terrorists. They brought their climbing gear, and those massive banners, across the pedestrian walkway entrance, in baby carriages. Go figure.
