   Eliot Spitzer's bank turned him in to the IRS

No bank name was given in the article, but it sounds like Spitzer acted
pretty stupidly awhile ago.

What difference does it make? The bank was acting under the requirements of
current anti money laundering laws.
 
Move lots of cash? It will be noticed....
