From Gulf Daily News:
"Probe into classified data leak STOCKHOLM: Classified military information concerning Sweden and other countries, including the US, was found on an external hard drive left at a Stockholm library, the Swedish armed forces said yesterday. A member of the military confessed he had misplaced the memory stick, the armed forces said, adding it had launched an investigation. "There were two classified documents on the USB (memory stick) ... This is very serious," said military spokesman Philip Simon. The memory stick was discovered plugged into a public computer at a library in the Swedish capital on Thursday and had been given to the Aftonbladet daily, which in turn handed it over to the military. The classified information touched on improvised explosive devices and anti-personnel mines in Afghanistan." --clip-- more at http://www.gulf-daily-news.com/Story.asp?Article=204730&Sn=BNEW&IssueID=30291 Juha-Matti _______________________________________________ Fun and Misc security discussion for OT posts. https://linuxbox.org/cgi-bin/mailman/listinfo/funsec Note: funsec is a public and open mailing list.
