http://www.cbc.ca/canada/british-columbia/story/2007/10/25/bc-waterbomber.html Since it's been mentioned here, for those in the fire zone, if you see a large, red and white four-engined flying boat (due to lack of perspective it will probably appear to be flying very slowly) stop and look up. You probably will never see it again. (Despite the article, there are only two operational left in the world, out of four ever made.) I don't know if they will reload from the lake down there: if they do, the thing picks up 29 tons of water in 28 seconds. (No, not as big as the Spruce Goose, but they have actually been working all this time.) (And, please, don't break it.) ====================== (quote inserted randomly by Pegasus Mailer) rslade () vcn bc ca slade () victoria tc ca rslade () computercrime org On the other hand, you have different fingers. http://victoria.tc.ca/techrev/rms.htm _______________________________________________ Fun and Misc security discussion for OT posts. https://linuxbox.org/cgi-bin/mailman/listinfo/funsec Note: funsec is a public and open mailing list.
