Boy, 10, gets locked in gun safe at Sam's Club

A 10-year-old boy spent some 15 minutes locked inside a 5-foot-tall gun safe
at a Sam's Club in Worcester on Monday after playing with the touch-pad
combination while his mother was shopping. 

Daniel Jancura was with his older brother and cousin at the wholesale
warehouse on Barber Avenue when he walked inside the 505-pound

#A>  black Winchester gun safe and closed the door. 

"The call came in for a lock-in, which usually to us means in a car," said
District Chief John F. Sullivan of the Worcester Fire Department by
telephone today. "Then the captain arrived and determined the real nature of
the problem."
