Now you are thinking. :-)

Most of the world is really pissed at us, and has been so since
the end of WWII. Why? Because of our absolutely contrarian foreign
policy -- the U.S. can't seem to stop meddling in the national
affairs of other countries.

Don't misunderstand my implication -- I am certainly no Iran
apologist.

But we never seem to learn our lessons in this regard.
