-----BEGIN PGP SIGNED MESSAGE----- Hash: SHA1 I'm looking for a dissertation that I remember reading a while back that completely & analytically dissects the argument that you should simply "give in" to privacy erosion and surveillance if you "don't have anything to hide" -- does anyone recall where I might have read this or perhaps who authored it? It was a fine piece of work. I think most of it was regarding the issues & spirit of the 4th Amendment of the U.S. Constitution: "The right of the people to be secure in their persons, houses, papers, and effects, against unreasonable searches and seizures, shall not be violated, and no Warrants shall issue, but upon probable cause, supported by Oath or affirmation, and particularly describing the place to be searched, and the persons or things to be seized."
