speed limits on suburban roads and school zones are generally not what is considered "THE speed limit". We're talking about highway type roads here, not roads with houses on each side and kids playing in the street.... Michael P. Yeah, like that. And have you ever driven through Atlanta? They could have killed someone. In response to the "minimum speed" comment - that's nothing to do with driving in the left lane. In fact, a defense for a speeding ticket in some areas is the flow of traffic. One, you can speed if EVERYONE is (most people don't get ticketed for doing 80 in a 70 around here) and you might get a ticket for impeding the flow of traffic (or however they put it) if you're in the left lane doing the speed limit. Point is, speed limits have NEVER been shown to have ANY effect on auto deaths on the highway. They are clearly nothing more than a tax. _______________________________________________ Fun and Misc security discussion for OT posts. https://linuxbox.org/cgi-bin/mailman/listinfo/funsec Note: funsec is a public and open mailing list. _______________________________________________ Fun and Misc security discussion for OT posts. https://linuxbox.org/cgi-bin/mailman/listinfo/funsec Note: funsec is a public and open mailing list. _______________________________________________ Fun and Misc security discussion for OT posts. https://linuxbox.org/cgi-bin/mailman/listinfo/funsec Note: funsec is a public and open mailing list.
