Kodak, in a statement, said it would not comment on why Ms. Raber left
the company in August because it was a personnel matter. Kodak said Ms. Raber's allegations about its photo service "are completely
false."
Throughout their 125+ year history, the Eastman Kodak Company (long known lovingly as "Great Yellow Father") has been compressing its customers' images. Amateur film formats shrunk from good old 620 roll film to 35mm to 126 cartridge to 110 cartridge, all the way down to the final (God awful) "disc" cameras of the 80s. It is what they do. They take your images and make them worse. They will never change. They should put a disclaimer on their site, similar to the one they put on color films for decades: "Images may, over time, compress..." _______________________________________________ Fun and Misc security discussion for OT posts. https://linuxbox.org/cgi-bin/mailman/listinfo/funsec Note: funsec is a public and open mailing list. _______________________________________________ Fun and Misc security discussion for OT posts. https://linuxbox.org/cgi-bin/mailman/listinfo/funsec Note: funsec is a public and open mailing list.
