A judge tossed out a speeding case and ordered the government to pay the
defendant's $3300 legal bill after it failed to produce a witness who could prove the evidence was not manipulated The counter-argument in this case (that demonstrated flaws in MD5 make the videos suspect) strikes me as sophistry. This standard will make it hard to convict anyone of anything.
