The reason for my questions is simple: There seems to be a huge [technology/awareness] gap between the people that build software/hardware/systems and the people that find holes in those systems.

What I'm really leading to is, how can we, as people involved in the security industry, address and fix this gap?
We have a tool called beSTORM that is about to address exactly that - an automated tool to find vulnerabilities during development. Sounds like science fiction, I know - but it works. IMO it's a technological problem that should have a technological solution. I won't spam the list with the marketing blurbs, so contact me off list for details. - Aviram _______________________________________________ Fun and Misc security discussion for OT posts. https://linuxbox.org/cgi-bin/mailman/listinfo/funsec Note: funsec is a public and open mailing list.
