Hello French governemental security agency audited the code as of version 6.0a. http://www.ssi.gouv.fr/fr/produits-et-prestataires/produits-qualifies/p_32_TrueCrypt_version_6.0a.html As you are from Canada, you may speak or read French. So take a look at the certification this product was given. An external eye would be valuable.
