-----BEGIN PGP SIGNED MESSAGE----- Hash: SHA1 As far as I'm concerned this whole discussion is moot. The fact is, SNOsoft can get snowed just as easy as any other company. Nothing makes them magical and intelligent enough not to get snowed and they can end up fucking over the U.S.A. However, people have a right to sell, give or horde their own zero day as they please. If you write the code, it's your right to do what you want. Who cares what Simon, jf or my fat nuts say ;-) The fact is, you are responsible for yourself. Listening to some dumb-ass company tell you they're perfectly responsible or listening to some community-leader/member laying out a "plan" for responsibility is lame. Think about yourself, your family and your country. Then make your decision. But, I still think that you should release zero-day publicly then tell me where to donate my 300$. 300$ to your favorite charity for the first Linux kernel zero day exploit! Isn't that better than making iDefense look good?
