New version of GroundZero Secure Delete which also supports securely wiping of Free Space on a Device, has been released! A free trial can be downloaded here:
Don't waste your time with this unknown program. Without seeing the source or any lab test results, it would be insane to trust your security to a completely unknown quantity that has nothing to recommend it. Get Eraser, which is a) free b) open source c) known to work and d) infinitely better researched designed engineered and implemented than any of the alternatives. http://www.heidi.ie/eraser/. Writing a really good file wiper is a highly complex matter and there are many potential snags and hitches. Eraser has been tested and is known good. Anything else will almost certainly have bugs that haven't yet been discovered. You're on a hiding to nothing when the software doesn't even claim to offer half the flexibility or features of Eraser. cheers, DaveK -- Can't think of a witty .sigline today.... _______________________________________________ Full-Disclosure - We believe in it.
