If this is true, I don't see how it would work well or be very
effective, but I can see that a person would make it just to prove a
point. Do you have any other information or links to this possible new
malware?

Rumor on the internets: New worm that utilizes wifi as the 
method of transmission. Only affects unpatched windows boxen, 
those fully patched with latest security updates are not 
vulnerable. After infection is sets the WiFi card to Ad-Hoc 
mode with SSID aec_le and starts requesting DHCP leases, 
penetrating unpatched machines in its wake.

I for one am lollin hard.
