Dear K Tucker,

It took us a long time before deciding to answer your post. The reason?
We didn't know if
writing a reply to your email is worth our time.

Basically, you state that being a leech to the underground makes you
reach the "highest level
of <<hackers>>". You seem to be new to the scene judging on your
yahoo.commail address and
lack of common sense. You seem to forget that the underground discovered all
the techniques the IT Security is relaying on today. You seem to forget that
IT Security industry is nothing but ripping off your pockets, selling snake
oil. There's no skill involved in playing a defensive role: all you need is
to get rid of stupidity and have some basical knowledge of computers. Having
an offensive stance, by the other hand, requests a lot of research, coding,
analysis, etc. You force us to quote Mr. Lance Spitzcock "I never new, until
today, how cool tcpdump is!". Now, that's skill!

We feel kind of awkward now, realising that some people will never see
the light; there's nothing we can do about it! You feel proud being a script
kiddie with a white hat? I bet you feel as good as the dumb feeling the most
intelligent person in the world. Let me tell you something: you will never
be hacker! You've got no idea what 'hacking' is. You've got no fucking idea
of what you're looking for on this list. You've got no fucking idea why your
hd leds are blinking. Better yet, you've got no fucking idea why the leds
were not blinking, yet your whole hd was stealthrm'd.

Relax, you're not owned (yet). PHC don't care about kids.

I noticed a few critical comments concerning FD and
the people that participate. After I made the post

concerning my bad experience with Intense School's
Hacker Boot camp, I received many emails from
subscribers offering a lot of good advice. I think
that's cool and I thank everyone that took that time
to write. As far as "white hat script kiddies" etc,
I wouldn't be too bothered by the adolescent ranting
of a teenager that has power issues going on in his
life. My belief is the highest level of "hackers" are
the so called "white hat" security professionals and
there is no reason to be embarrassed to be placed in
that category. It takes way more skill to play a
defensive role. If someone doubts that and thinks them
evil and "leet", try hacking into the Pentagon and see
what happens to you!
