pagvac, thanks for the help.but wht i am looking for is a bit more enhanced stuff.i like the way core impact work in automated scanning, footprinting then exploitation.metasploit is somehow i found limited in this case.core impact reduces the task of running nmap+nessus. so is there any other stuff available like this?just looking for a cheaper alternative to core impact ;) thanks again!!! regards, CF -- ting ding ting ding ting ding ting ding ting ding ding i m crazy frog :) "oh yeah oh yeah... another wannabe, in hackerland!!!" Crazy frog, Check out Metasploit www.metasploit.com. It's an open source and free framework for developing and testing exploits. In this case I believe you want a framework to help you fire exploits against targets. In such case, Metasploit is perfect since it usually includes the most important PoC exploits that have been made public. There is a demo of the Metasploit web interface available at http://www.metasploit.com:55555/ Regards, pagvac (Adrian Pastor) www.ikwt.com
