Sir, I work on Redhat Linux and we want to know if there is any method to mirror the '/proc' filesystem on one machine-A to another machine-B so as to monitor all the events occuring in A using machine-B. [ALD > ] Well you could run a cron job every 5 secs or so that will do "cp -r /proc /somedir" and then tar and upload it to some where on machine b where you could write a shell / perl script doing all the monitoring of the system for you -Aditya
