Looking for a intrusion prevention system for personal use on my win xp box
sygate personal firewall pro www.sygate.com it has plenty of IPS features built into it others that i have used and found to be effective are norton internet security 2003 the best would be haveing a separate openbsd box with pf doing all the ips and other software. look the web for some ips programs for openbsd snort + pf is very good combination which is my personal fav. u may also use linux distro instead of openbsd and use ipchains / iptables for the same purpose. -aditya ________________________________________________________________________ Delivered using the Free Personal Edition of Mailtraq (www.mailtraq.com) _______________________________________________ Full-Disclosure - We believe in it.
