sorry for replying to my own mail but i forgot to tell what the problem was the attachment that you see was in the previous mail was a snapshot of extra 1 ones that are added to the command after the in the for loop there is a case where the extra "1" always being apended to command line ( the area that was selected ) maybe i have not been able to express myself clealy but the highlighed "1"s are causing all the batchfiles to go arwy. ________________________________________________________________________ Delivered using the Free Personal Edition of Mailtraq (www.mailtraq.com)
