Does anyone know if there is anyway to download the current snort rules with ALL the definitions and references? What I am looking for is to be able to download the information that is available at: http://www.snort.org/cgi-bin/done.cgi and have it available as a local resource file or database. An example of this would be CVS, this is available for download in three different formats; html, txt and xml.
All of that information is distributed with snort. Grab a copy of the latest snapshot to get the latest documentation. The rule documentation is stored in doc/signatures. -brian ------------------------------------------------------------------------------- INTRUSION PREVENTION: READY FOR PRIME TIME?
