Has anyone discovered and a reliable source of information regarding performance or operational parameters for Cisco PIX firewalls? That is, acceptable limits for the various resources utilized, CPU, memory, interface saturation, etc. Specifically, what are the impacts of high CPU utilization on this platform? What are the implications of CPU levels exceeding 80-90%.
Should be the same conditions of what you are going to have on a x86 class machine(535 is a PIII 1Ghz?). And the load is mostly interrupt induced. If i'm not mistaken it will block all incoming connections when it is fully loaded. - ed _______________________________________________ firewall-wizards mailing list firewall-wizards () listserv icsalabs com https://listserv.icsalabs.com/mailman/listinfo/firewall-wizards
