I suspect this is somewhat off topic, but the moderator let it through, so..You are mixing apples and oranges. AES is an encryption standard. TKIP is an enhancement to WEP, and so is broader than AES. TKIP uses RC4-128 instead of AES, which I believe is why RSN recommends moving to CCMP, which uses AES. But, both use 128 bit keys and anything is better than using WEP (but WEP is better than nothing).
