They seem to be half up and down. Others from other lists mentioned this
issue Friday, and some sent e-mails towards Alfred Huger <sp?> to see what
was up. I made contact with those that sent e-mails and they have not
gotten delivery problems kickbacks, so it seems the e-mails might well be
getting routed through. Traceroutes packets seem to get dropped in the
alternet realm, though this might have always been a blockage, but, it
could well be the symantic iheritance and incorporation is now rearing up,
there have been a few messages I've seen since the friday outages were
noted from various sec-focus mailing lists, all now with symantic info and
urls in the sec-focus members sigs. I've looked breifly at the symantic
sites main page in a text based browser, but, saw nothing there yet to
really indicate the rollover. Then again there was mention that the
gobbels site was getting redirects friday, now it seems to time out,
though, there are some claims that sec-focus is reachable on certain areas
of the net, so it could be a semi outage tween some of the core backbone
providers and most all my info here be purely unreliable. But, I do not
think it's something to panic over, at least not yet, as has been sugested
by the extremely paranoid in other lists.

Thanks,

Ron DuFresne

Did I miss something, or is Security-Focus experiencing DDoS or otherwise
off-line?

I have not been able to access the site reliably in several days.

Thanks,
