Chasing IP addresses may provide elusivity in that virtual servers are used for the peer-to-peer sessions for each webex client and even those change depending on the needs of any particular session. We are attacking this with two technologies: 1) blocking the base URL at our web filter, plus 2) using Raptor's regular expression capabilities within the HTTP proxy to block key URI parts --__--__-- Message: 1 From: Mike McNutt <Mike () aqssys com> To: "'firewall-wizards () honor icsalabs com'" <firewall-wizards () honor icsalabs com> Date: Mon, 7 Oct 2002 14:30:17 -0500 Subject: [fw-wiz] block webex? I'm looking for a way to block WebEx communication to/from our company network. I'm interested in finding a reliable, easy to implement method for our Win2K network. We have Cisco firewalls in place, so my first thought was to simply block the WebEx server Ips. I'm having trouble locating a list of these addresses, has anyone compiled a list they might be willing to share? Thanks in advance! _______________________________________________ firewall-wizards mailing list firewall-wizards () honor icsalabs com http://honor.icsalabs.com/mailman/listinfo/firewall-wizards
