1. BlackIce cannot be compared to NFR and RealSecure due to the fact that 
BlackIce has much different capabilities than NFR and RealSecure. BlackICE 
was originally designed as a personal IDS for the end user.  Then all of 
suddenly the product was placed in the same category as NFR and 
RealSecure. NFR and RealSecure are tow products that are well defined IDS 
products that have distinct feature sets.

Under any circumstance do not consider deploying BlackICE as a middle 
level enterprise system.  Although according to BlackICE SNAKE people, 
they have over 800,000 installation in less than a year,   A great 
majority of them are 1 instance of the application not an agent reporting 
to a console.

I would compar BlackICE to NFR BOF.  BlackICE has a little more alerts 
than NFR BOF.

level of security protection.
