Has anyone ever sniffed the traffic from/to an ADSM server and its client?
Is it
viable (without too great of risk) to allow the traffic on the ports that
the
secure-side ADSM server uses and only to the ADSM server's IP?
ADSM uses a TCP connection. The port is configurable, default is 1500. TCP connections will be established from both sides. First, the server tells the client to do the backup, then the client opens another connection and sends all its data.
