I thought maybe he was talking about outbound access.  (i.e. internal people
can do whatever the hell they want, the rest of the world can't get in)
Asking about NAT also goes along with that, I would think.  But, in reality,
it is likely that he is just shady.

Actually, if you read between the lines, this is a scary message.
My guess is that someone out there has a Gauntlet running on HP
and has been hacked; the hacker is trying to find out (without the
manual) what they need to do to make the firewall open itself up.
