one proxy, two firewalls

from within ie4, a proxy is configured to point to a firewall. rules
authenticate how/where the users goes...

another firewall (cp-1, v4.1sp1) is completed trusted for specific urls
only (requires no authentication at the firewall).

if the default proxy points to the latter firewall, what has to be
configured to transparently route all other user's requests (with
authentication) back to the former firewall??
