A brief check of a couple underground sites reveals there are a couple
of hacks that can use AOL Instant Messenger (also other ICQ-type apps)
as a conduit for trojans. IMHO, it is interesting technology that is
not ready for prime time.

hi,

what is your opinion on letting aol and/or aol instant messenger through
a firewall. please assume there is, at least, some business
justification for its use.

thanks.

an email cc would be appreciated.
