Refer to www.watchguard.com for more information about the company. They currently have two products available. Firebox I - their initial product, Linux Based O/S, Windows NT and Linux Management GUI, a management report console, and performance tool set, Embedded O/S, floppy disk to save out configs to, allow back up of config Firebox II - much improved than FireBox I, has flash mem cards to save out configs and such Their previous marketing campaign was 1. Protect 2. Extend 3. Manage Pioneers in the market of Internet Firewall Appliances, promised the ability for a Back Office VPN (never quite worked well), If your company does need the bells, whistles, and other thrills of a full blown software/hardware firewall, plus the inhouse knowledge of designing/configuring/architecting a firewall solution, then a WG Firebox may suit your needs.. /nuff On Wed, 23 Sep 1998, Garbrick, Randy wrote:
