I'm looking for a moderately simple, and sercure mechanism such that their FTP server would only have to talk to one IP address (that of our FTP proxy). Any suggestions?
Crossover UTP, nic to nic. If your proxy isn't rubbing casters with the FTP server (mod the longest stretch of UTP you can lay hands on), place another proxy server such that the above condition is met, and have the original proxy talk to this proxy'. This is presuming that you're not willing to haggle yourself out any of the constraints you've placed on possible solutions. And presuming that the `would only have to' should be read as `can only' with a `and _vice versa_' tacked onto the end. - -Steve -----BEGIN PGP SIGNATURE----- Version: 2.6.2 iQCVAwUBNe10yirw2ePTkM9BAQFrMwP/bH+E/X/py2A4bYee+Y8lsMalz/7wzRZM 53cujTDpbzqq4CVy2c7Ts2l0vZsQvvRBMwd8m7ZGzYidpo7Ql4kMPhaFI+g3ua5S D+mNy+7W2aW9Y+UGdodS63V4Q41VEg8Y+z+jBPF16lugirY/8Ooaz9NYtvn2fd7y IMscsBl/eH8= =05lt -----END PGP SIGNATURE-----
