Uh, OK, I'll bite... What do you mean by "negative" IP packets? Certainly not negative integer values... IP addresses and such are unsigned. I assume you say negative, meaning "bad" in some way? Yes, there's some folks on the list who have experience with bad IP packets that can crash servers. I think some of them have some experience protecting against them, too. Was there a specific problem or set of problems you're worried about? Were you referring to denial of service attacks, or intrusions, or what? Ryan By sending negative IP packets to a network, you can crash the server.
