pointers to good literature that's relevant to our field. I'm going

        of some of the ATM-specific problems with IP security.

"StackGuard: Automatic adaptive detection and prevention of
buffer overflow attacks"  -- a set of changes to gcc to prevent
        a broad set of stack smashing attacks.
