Evolving STINGAR and Threat Intelligence July 22nd, 3:00-4:00 pm Eastern An important challenge facing security teams is how to accurately and rapidly identify and block attacks. Security teams make use of broad toolkits to defend networks, systems and data such as antimalware software, anti-phishing appliances, and intrusion protection and detection devices. In more recent years, threat intelligence has played an increasingly important role in protecting the enterprise. Since 2014, Duke has partnered with other higher education entities and research labs to advance the STINGAR project and demonstrate how partners can collaboratively protect themselves from malicious network activity. In this presentation, we will discuss two focus areas of the STINGAR team over the past year: 1. Developing an approach to prototype new honeypots 2. Analysis of threat intelligence data and trends identified Register here<https://iu.zoom.us/webinar/register/WN_j3A7_27oR1O9gH4cWuy3PA> Todd A. Stone M.A., MAJ, USA (Ret.)
