emeritus

All, we are relooking at what access we provide emeritus faculty.  Currently they are treated as if they continue to be 
full time faculty with the rights and privileges therein.  This equates to access to internal systems and a university 
email (not labeled any different then full-time faculty). With safeguard and other privacy rules, I am wondering how 
other universities are addressing their emeritus faculty.

Any thoughts or processes are more than welcome.
