Jen, Thanks for your time this morning. Our Security Matters Blog guidelines are at https://drive.google.com/file/d/1ze7qinXZAxd2X31ziBdxzHw44i9hWOdv/view?usp=sharing This would be a great opportunity to share best practices and perhaps include a campus partner (voice) in the blog. I have a few blogs in process now, publication would likely be mid-late September, which might be well timed for a potential webinar on the 6th of October. We’d need draft by early September. Additionally keep an eye on “The EDUCAUSE Security Community Group Listserv” SECURITY () LISTSERV EDUCAUSE EDU<mailto:SECURITY () LISTSERV EDUCAUSE EDU> you can subscribe at https://www.educause.edu/community/security-community-group I’ll be posting an update on Blackbaud in the next day or so, provided you (Spirion) are not overtly “selling” on list you are free to chime in with resources available to community. Also, just came across your name as the owner of the July 28 webcast on the Blackbaud breach. Last week we had a handful of Spirion higher EDU customers impacted by this data breach reach out to us. We are helping them with their response and action plan. Is EDUCAUSE planning any additional “what to do” seminars? Our mission is to Protect What Matters Most and as a result we have a how-to respond guide for the market and our CEO is speaking on quantifying organizational risk and preparing a response to cybercrimes like the one at Blackbaud. Happy to have a conversation if you feel it would benefit the EDUCAUSE audience. I’m hoping you can point us in the right direction. We have some new team members that are assisting with sponsorships and I believe Spirion signed a digital sponsorship with EDUCAUSE. Could you help direct us to the person that could provide insight into the contract we have? I recall the event below but believe it was cancelled or went virtual. Any assistance you can provide is appreciated. Marissa Love is helping sort through the contract details to help Spirion take better advantage of our partnership! Our corporate team let me know that Spirion is already confirmed as a corporate participant at this year’s event. They have been working with Shane Wilson, in case you wanted to reach out to him and discuss the two opportunities Spirion has signed up for so far (a one-day display and the Thursday lunch sponsorship). I’m happy to loop in our corporate team if you’d still like to chat with them. Just let me know. ☺ Thank you, Valerie Valerie Vogel Senior Manager, Cybersecurity Program EDUCAUSE Uncommon Thinking for the Common Good direct: 202.331.5374 | Follow HEISC on LinkedIn<https://nam03.safelinks.protection.outlook.com/?url=https%3A%2F%2Fwww.linkedin.com%2Fshowcase%2Fhigher-education-information-security-council-heisc-%2F&data=02%7C01%7C%7Cc70446bb84b14358b46308d83d67099d%7Cdd4b037fe626495db0170cc0f7dddb37%7C0%7C0%7C637326860066113846&sdata=ss1%2BTeNI60UhBhFPedFYD8b75cuhlz%2F82ZmJFF0vVRU%3D&reserved=0> | twitter: @HEISCouncil | vvogel () educause edu<mailto:vvogel () educause edu> _________________ Join us for #Security20, April 21–23, 2020 in Bellevue, WA Learn more about the program: https://www.educause.edu/sec20 and register by March 10.
