I am excited to share our upcoming EDUCAUSE Online Course Introduction to Ethical
Hacking<https://events.educause.edu/courses/2020/introduction-to-ethical-hacking> on September 30 - October 14.
The course will be facilitated by Jesse Roberts<https://members.educause.edu/jesse-shaun-roberts> and will introduce
participants to the process an ethical hacker follows when testing a target.
EDUCAUSE has worked with Jesse to create a valuable course for our community as part of Cybersecurity Awareness Month.

He will cover the different tools, techniques, and methodologies a tester and threat actor will employ during a test or
breach attempt.

  * Learn the difference between a vulnerability assessment and a penetration test
  * Learn about the different tools and techniques that hackers—including ethical hackers—employ
  * Discover the elements of a four-phase penetration test and how the four phases help a successful test

Registration for this webinar is now open.
