On Data Privacy Day
2020<https://www.educause.edu/focus-areas-and-initiatives/policy-and-security/cybersecurity-program/awareness-campaigns#privacyday>,
it is important to both examine how technology and privacy have evolved in the past decade and get ahead of privacy
challenges to come. Join EDUCAUSE today at 1 pm EST.

Amelia Vance, Director of Youth and Education Privacy for the Future of Privacy Forum, will reflect on privacy lessons
learned and best practices inside and outside education; discuss how changes in technology and privacy law could impact
higher ed; and suggest ways that institutions can prepare for those challenges and lead on privacy.

Outcomes

  * Hear about lessons learned and best practices on privacy inside and outside the education sector over the past
decade
  * Learn about the various privacy policies being considered at the state and federal levels
  * Take away resources your institution can use to prepare for privacy changes and lead on privacy
