Survey on cybersecurity and automated buildings

Greetings,

 

On behalf of the University of West Florida (UWF), the University of North
Carolina Charlotte (UNCC), and the National Environmental Balancing Bureau
(NEBB) and its Building Systems Commissioning (BSC) Committee, I am writing
to request your participation in an important online survey.  The survey is
part of a research partnership between NEBB, UNCC and UWF. The research
effort was created to measure the gap in awareness regarding potential cyber
threats to networked building systems among Facility Managers and
Information Technology personnel. 

 

This study aims to establish the specific concerns, as well as the roles of
each of the team/partners/stakeholders, in terms of risk mitigation. A
survey, anticipated to take approximately 10 minutes, has been developed to
collect information pertaining to your organization and/or your role in
Building Automation Systems or Cybersecurity. 

 

Personal information will not be requested, but only that information
pertaining to your role at your organization/institution and the location
(State). Reported data will include only categorized results (state and size
of organization) and will not include specific information for a single
owner. Data collected will be used only by the research partners and will
not be disseminated, except in the aggregate, to any outside parties, or
used for any other purposes except for this research program.

 

NEBB will distribute the resulting article from this research project to
NEBB Certified BSC Professionals and their firms.  If there are any
