UNM Hospitals has an opening for an ITSecurity Analyst II.

An IT Security Analyst II position with UNM Hospitals IT Security Unit has opened. Applicants with Computer Science, 
Information Assurance or IT Security background are encouraged to apply. The position reports to the Manager, IT 
Security and will focus on systems security.
**Design, plan and implement security projects for the enterprise. Enforce and audit security policies and procedures 
which safeguard the integrity of and access to UNM Hospitals information systems. Manage security applications and 
projects;  investigate security incidents; perform computer forensics studies and maintain incident tracking records. 
Prepare status reports on security matters; develop security risk analyses; track risks and critical issues that might 
affect clients or Hospitals security objectives. 
Preferred: IT security work or an equivalent combination of education and experience. Technical expertise in forensic, 
encryption, vulnerability scanning, logging tools. Including the development and implementation of new security tools. 
A solid understanding of project planning and implementation, encryption, host intrusion protection systems, EPO, 
TCP/IP, computer forensics and investigative methodology. Demonstrated excellent verbal and written communication, 
interpersonal and project management skills and the ability to deal confidentially with people at all levels of the 
organization. Must be able to work independently and as part of a team and effectively collaborate with others.**
