Information Security Specialist

Under general supervision, monitors daily operations of university-wide information security concerns and questions.  
Implements proactive and reactive security measures, as directed, to protect university assets, systems and data.  
Reports to the Information Security Program Manager.

System Architect

Under general direction, performs complex evaluation, analysis and design of technological solutions across the 
Enterprise to ensure the university's technology platforms, security infrastructure, architecture, networks, and 
applications support business and technology planning consistent with future strategic objectives and goals. Manages 
elements of the Information Security Program and provides guidance/coordination for IT security projects at ASU. Serves 
as an expert and consultant for IT security matters by designing and promoting secure operational solutions including 
system monitoring, intrusion prevention, asset identification, and access management to protect University systems, 
assets and data. Reports to the Chief Information Security Officer.
