(my first post here, here's to hoping I've done it right) We've got the Blackboard OneCard system (http://www.blackboard.com/Platforms/Transact/Overview.aspx) here, and it's integrated into VideoInsight (http://www.video-insight.com/). The integration between the two systems results in video data being tied to a card-swipe. You see their ID picture along with the video, and can bring up their history of swipes and videoOf the various software pieces I evaluated, ONSSI and VideoInsight were the standouts and it was the integration of the card-swipe data that sealed the deal. It has been 'up' since 08 and working quite well for us. The real make-or-break in a system like this, in my opinion, is the reliability and throughput of your network, and the cameras/servers you choose. I have much more detail about the system should you have further questions, feel free to ask me privately. -Loren McNett
