We have started whole disk encryption across the enterprise. As some workstations cannot be encrypted, our second phase is pushing out content scanning/DLP to encrypt or delete confidential information on the local hard drive and removable media. The final phase will be file and folder encryption for network drives. All of this centrally controlled by ePO. I am interested in knowing what percentage of schools are using whole disk and or removable media encryption. Does anyone know of a study that focuses on higher education?
