Responsibilities:

CONSIDERED FOR THE POSITION. 

Assist in ensuring that sensitive data physical locations(s) and systems
are secure. Assist in ensuring intellectual property and information
assets are protected against accidental and unauthorized modification.
Analyze daily security reports and assist in maintenance and enforcement
of Security Policies & Procedures. Provide support helping identify
current security infrastructure. Serve as member in information security
liaison team and assist in responding to security related inquiries,
both internal and external. Support compliance of information security
policies and standards. Keep abreast of changes to existing and proposed
regulatory laws pertaining to information system security and relaying
to management. Work with applications developers to address security
concerns. Perform other duties as assigned. 

Qualifications: 

Required: Ability to develop and maintain recordkeeping systems and
procedures. Skill in organizing resources and establishing priorities.
Ability to balance team and individual responsibilities. Ability to
record, track, correspond, and document resolution of user problems
Ability to foster cooperative work environment. Demonstrated knowledge
of current security tools, communication protocols, encryption
techniques/tools. Familiarity with commercial security products and
technologies. Strong knowledge of computer software including Microsoft
Excel and Microsoft Access. Understanding of FERPA compliance.
Experience in IT Application Support. Demonstrated Enterprise Systems
Knowledge. 

Desired: Bachelor's degree or equivalent working experience. Experience
working for a university. Knowledge of FERPA and SB1363.
