Wikimatrix will let you compare wiki features. You'll probably find quite a few that fit your requirements, and then it'll just be a matter of preference. http://www.wikimatrix.org/ I've run MediaWiki in the past and I wouldn't recommend it. It can be made reasonably secure, but user management was a real pain. Maybe newer versions have improved it. --Adam On Wed, Jan 28, 2009 at 10:28 AM, Barros, Jacob <jkbarros () grace edu> wrote:
We want to develop wiki server for self help documents on a few of our systems and 'we' are not completely satisfied with what we currently have planned for security (system/software hardening, port/ip restrictions, encryption). Any bad experiences or things we should avoid / security pitfalls? Any specific tips on wiki security? Comments on dokuwiki.org/?
