We are still experiencing problems with usernames that have been compromised. Although there is not much that can be done when users send his/her username and password to a spammer, I am trying to find out if universities are still allowing users to POP mail and, if so, is it secure POP??
[stuff deleted] We offer POP on SSL or STARTTLS connects only. Due to an interesting mis-feature of recent Windows systems, we will be offerring POP as an opt-in only service. -- scott hollatz net shollatz () d UMn eDu information technology systems and services tel +1 218 726 8851 university of minnesota duluth mn usa fax +1 218 726 7674 -- "Asn aD ta zlAp em uT zt33rg"
