Our biggest complaint is that they seem to have ignored the need for backward feature compatibility when they upgrade their product. In particular, we have had to stay on an older release on one of our systems because our deployment on that system, which serves 7000+ users, depends on a feature that SSH.com discontinued when version 4 gave way to version 5. We've also found SSH.com support to be marginal and not very helpful when we are trying to resolve issues they say they cannot reproduce. Also we've experienced some some apparent non-SSH.COM SFTP client compatibility issues even with their newer releases. On the plus side, performance seems adequate. And the product seems reliable for most users although a handful (typically but not exclusively Mac users) complain about abnormally terminated sessions and or slow transfer rates. We have started looking at the VanDyke SFTP product as a possible replacement. -Fred ========================================= Frederick D.
