We use Iron Mountain, they have a secure take disposal service. Regards, Joel Rosenblatt --On Monday, November 13, 2006 11:42 AM -0600 Elizabeth Shannon <eshannon () PITTSTATE EDU> wrote:
Hello We have a number of old backup tapes (200+) that need to be disposed. Of course, the tapes are unencrypted and many contained personally identifiable information. I am wondering how other institutions are handling the disposal of old backup tapes. Do you contract with a company for this type of service or do this in-house? Any information or suggestions would appreciated. -- Elizabeth Shannon Pittsburg State University 620-235-4085 eshannon () pittstate edu
