David We did just that a few years ago. After one of the latest ISS major upgrades the software became too bulky and difficult to handle, in my opinion. We did a comparison scan on a few machines and could not find any major differences on the report. We've been using Nessus successfully for a couple of years now. The only issue I see with it is the lack of a native database on the back end. As many people will tell you, you can write your own import script or use several front-end products that are out there, but native support would be nice. Alex David Grisham wrote:
We are looking at going to Nessus from ISS. Are there any ISS users out there that have made the comparison and not gone to Nessus one another supported systems scanner? Thanks in advance.
